Dancing With The Stars Monday night was wild and western.  I say that because while there were some great performances, it reminded me of the Clint Eastwood movie, "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly."

Among the great performances was Kellie Pickler and her partner Derek Hough.  They danced a jazz number together that in my opinion, should have received a ten.  However, the judges really never award perfect scores early in the season.

16 year old Zendaya was electric, along with Aly Raisman. Give Baltimore Ravens wide reciever Jacoby Jones an honorable mention.  So far, the performances are on par with my early prediction of who would be in the finals and eventually win DWTS this season.

So now that we've covered the good, which performances last night were ugly?  Victor Ortiz, Lisa Vanderpump, Dorothy Hamill and Wynonna Judd. All could be voted off the show and finished for the season.  Dorothy Hamill is in real danger with her three 5's from Monday night.  D.L. Hughley was terrible last week, but somewhat redeemed himself in week 2.  He is on the chopping block as well.

When it comes to country music fans who watch the show, historically, they keep the country stars alive. Such was the case a few seasons ago with rodeo star Ty Murray.  Ty seemed to survive week after week while he continued to improve.

I'm hoping this is the case with Wynonna Judd.  She has had a tough year with her husband losing his leg in a motorcycle accident last summer in the Black Hills.  Country folk seem to take care of their own.

I predict that Wynonna survives this week because of her country fan base.  I don't see the same optimism for Hamill, Hughley or Vanderpump.  All three are ripe for elimination.
