Just a quick update on a recent concert at The District here in Sioux Falls. It's was the Whiskey Myers show. If you listen to our Saturday Evening show Radio Texas Live with Buddy Logan you are most likely familiar with Whiskey Myers.

I've been a fan of Whiskey Myers for quite a while. I'm a child of the 70's and dig that southern rock vibe. I hit the show last Saturday night and wasn't disapointed.

I was however disapointed to hear that guitarist John Jeffers had 3 guitars stolen. The good news, the guitars have found their way back to John. He is a tremendous talent with guitar and Whiskey Myers as a whole?  Crazy good! Can't wait to see them again.

JD Collins would love to hear from you. If you have a story idea let him know anytime at jdcollins@kikn.com.

Whiskey Meyers has a sound and feel like no other. On their website they describe their music as:

What the music sounds like is raw, visceral emotion: pride, faith, desire, defiance. The songs on 'Mud' are stories of ordinary men and women standing up for their families and honoring their roots. Home is sacred ground for Whiskey Myers, not just a plot of land, but rather the cornerstone of an identity worth dying for.
