They seem to be a staple in the diet of all children.  And if you are a parent that has recently purchased a bag of these kid favorites, you might want to check the manufacturer codes and make sure the bag you have isn't being recalled.

Tyson is recalling about 75,320 pounds of chicken nuggets after some customers complained about finding small pieces of plastic in the frozen, white meat chicken nuggets, causing minor mouth injuries.

The recall includes five-pound bags that have been sold at Sam's Clubs across the United States.

Late last week, the company said they had received some complaints from a small number of consumers of plastic pieces being found in the nuggets.  The U.S. Department of Agriculture traced the problem back to a product scraper inside a blending machine.

The five-pound bags of chicken nuggets have the manufacturers code of "0264SDL0315 through 19" and "0474SDL0311 through 14."  They also have an establishment number of "P-13556" that can be found on the bag.

The USDA says that the products were produced January 26 or February 16 at one of Tyson's 40 chicken production facilities and includes a "Best if Used By" date of "January 26, 2015" or February 16, 2015."
