I've been known to lose a weekend (or two) to an obsessive TV show binge session. There was month in 2015 that don't really remember anything because I finally decided to watch all of Mad Men.

Nearly half of all Americans subscribe to a streaming service like Netflix, so chances are there is some binge watching going on in your house. The numbers folks at Homesnacks.net broke down the stats to find out what show is the number one obsession in each state.

According to their findings the most streamed show in South Dakota is the high school football drama Friday Night Lights.

In Minnesota they always remember that there's always money in the banana stand because they stream Arrested Development. Nebraska looks to be taking a master's class in sitcom writing because their top streaming show is Cheers. Family drama is what fills the days of our friends in Iowa, the show Parenthood is tops there.

Here's the rest of the country.

Once you finish your Friday Night Lights binge session, I have some great recommendations for you. The Netflix originals Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Also on Netflix: W/ Bob and David, Continuum, Bojack Horseman, IT Crowd, all the Star Treks are there, Jericho, Sherlock, and that's good for now. Hulu has all the old Dragnets from the late 60s, and the amazing Difficult People.
