For some reason over the weekend I had a thought run through my mind; I wondered if anyone would notice if I wore the same color everyday for a week. Since St. Patrick's Day was the next Thursday (in 2016 anyway) I chose to wear the color green. But there were other reasons: a) I love the color green, b) I own a lot of green clothing and c) why not?

I began the experiment on Monday and ended it on Thursday (since I took Friday off, but I promise to wear green then too). No one said a word until St. Patrick's day because everyone notices that you are either wearing green or not on that day. But no one said, "Hey you've worn something green everyday this week!".

Now there have been other experiments where people have worn the same outfit everyday or piece of clothing, (a weather guy wore the same tie for a month, just to see if anyone would notice) but I couldn't find anything about wearing one color for a week.

What have I deduced from my little experiment? Good question! And, I'm not sure what the answer is. Perhaps people I work with are so busy that they are completely oblivious to what others are wearing, (although, I truly seem to notice almost everything other people wear). Maybe people here are too kind to say, "Um, is there some reason you've been wearing green clothing all week?". For all one knows they could be "green with envy"! (Green, with envy! Get it?)

It is entirely conceivable that my co-workers were thinking I had finally snapped, (because it is possible I have!). Perchance it was an idiotic experiment! Yes, there is always that! In any case, experiment performed, results unclear, week and experiment over, (for me anyway) time to think of other ways to play with people's minds. (Please picture me wickedly wringing my hands).
