Sometimes it was that teach who shook something loose like the love of something new inside of us for the first time.

I believe most of those teachers took on the task of teaching because they know the importance of their position.

The stories of teachers making the most impact often have little to do with class lessons and test taking and more to do with life lessons.

For me it was my fourth grade teacher Mrs. Heck and a high school government teacher named Mr. Joslyn.

They both had a style to their teaching that let you know that their profession was personal to them.

When my friend Randi graduated college and started her teaching path I was trying to figure out a good gift to get her.

I thought I was going to be funny and bring her an apple and decided to settle on the above poem instead.
