Want to Take a Dip? Midco Aquatic Center Now Open

Dive on in the water is fine! The ribbon cutting for the brand new indoor Sioux Falls Midco Aquatic Center was Wednesday (October 12). As of early this morning, the new facility is looking for a few good swimmers.

Thursday (October 13) is the first day you can take a dip in one of the three pools available in the new aquatic center located at Spellerberg Park.

The new facility boasts a Recreation Pool, 50 Meter Pool, and Warm Water Pool. Along with locker rooms, a lounge area, and outdoor sundeck and splash pad that will be open when weather permits.

Swim passes can be purchased in advance, or you can pay the daily pool admission rate.

Anyone that purchases a swim pass will be able to enjoy year-round swimming in the new indoor aquatic center that will surely blow you away once you see it!

The Midco Aquatic Center will be open to the public from 5:30 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday-Friday. 7:00 A.M. through 6:00 P.M. on Saturday's and 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday's.

Open Swim will be available during all operational hours. Due to scheduled activities in the pool areas there could be times in which facility amenities would not be available.
