Walker McGuire recently shot a video for their debut single, "Til Tomorrow," and they're taking Taste of County readers behind the scenes at the shoot with these exclusive pictures from the set.

The country duo consists of Jordan Walker and Johnny McGuire, whose musical chemistry proves the old adage "opposites attract." The singer-songwriters met while performing separately at a songwriters round in Nashville just days after each of them moved to town, and together they have honed a style that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Walker came to Nashville by way of Texas, and he brings classic country influences including Keith Whitley and Dan Seals to Walker McGuire, while Kansas City native McGuire draws on a palette of roots music that includes Tom Petty and John Prine as primary influences. Together they have developed a unique take on contemporary country that centers around their sensational harmony singing.

"Til Tomorrow" has already garnered significant buzz for the freshman duo, including 18 million streams. The song impacted country radio on April 10 as the third-most-added song of the week, and they worked with director by Mason Dixie locally on the music video for the track locally in Music City. The video centers around one of country music's most enduring themes — getting over a heartbreak by hitting the bar with your friends, only to find that the sadness is still there.

Walker McGuire are currently hard at work on their debut album for Wheelhouse Records, which is expected in 2017.
