The Minnesota Vikings will be moving into their new home for the 2016 and they are holding nothing back as they attempt to make it a showstopper.

The Vikings announced that they plan on adding a enormous Vikings ship outside of their new stadium in downtown Minneapolis.

According to the Vikings, they plan to construct a huge Nordic ship that will feature a 43 foot high dragon head and the sail on the ship will consist of a 55-foot-high video board.

Team officials went on to say the ship will be similar in appearance to the one outside the teams headquarters at Winter Park.

The $1.1 billion U.S. Bank Stadium is currently under construction and even though some of that stadium is being paid for by Minnesota tax payers, the Vikings sa the ship will be privately funded.

They are going to name the ship the "Legacy Ship" and will house thousands of bricks that are customized by the Vikings fans.
