Vandals Go out of Bounds at Spring Creek Golf Course

Vandals had respect for the golf course, but not the carts. Over the Labor Day weekend, Spring Creek Golf Course had some carts damaged during a late night joy ride.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office submitted photos of the damaged machines on its Facebook page on Monday. It is believed that the suspects committed the act either late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

It is believed that 10 golf carts were taken from the club area and driven around. The Argus Leader talked to Sheriff Dennis Johnson who was unsure of a damage estimate.

From the golfing end of things, the course itself was not damaged. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Crime Stoppers or the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
