U.S. Agriculture mad a stop in South Dakota this week.

Secretary Sonny Purdue was in the state discussing replenishing and sustaining soil health among other farm topics.

According to the Aberdeen American News Perdue toured the Prairie pothole landscape in the northeast part of the state. The Secretary touted improvements in genetics and technology as a way farmers can improve soil health.

Improving the wetland determination was also a main topic of conversation.

Perdue was in the state on Thursday (October 26).
