It's South Dakota's oldest county fair and gate admission is still free! The Turner County Fair in Parker, SD is celebrating 135 years in 2015.

There will be events on Sunday, August 16, 2015, but the Fair kicks off Monday, August 17, 2015 and runs through Thursday, August 20, 2115.

There will be a Ranch Rodeo in the Grandstand on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Monday, August 17, 2015 there will be an Outlaw Tractor Pull.  Enduro races are Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 7:00 PM. The Hurley Fire Department sponsors the Figure 8 Races on Wednesday night, August 19, 2015. The Turner County Fair wraps up Thursday night, August 20 with a Demolition Derby.

A county fair just wouldn't be a fair without fair food! The Turner County Fair prides itself on its food stands and the variety offered by in-county, non-profit organizations. Some of the food booths featured include the 4-H Lunch Stand, Salem Mennonite Church, Turner County Pork Producers, Turner County Beef Producers, Grace Lutheran Church, Freeman Academy, Dakota Lamb, the Sweet Corn Crib, milk and cookies, root beer floats, SDSU ice cream and much, much more!
