Are you a worry wart?

No question that we all, at one time or another, feel stress, pressure, nervousness, whatever you want to call it.

And, if you're like me, often times once the 'worrysome thing' is past you realize...hey, why did I spend all that energy worrying about that? It wasn't so bad and I came through it fine!

But that doesn't change the fact that we all worry about, well, something (or things). Remember back all those years to grade school? Might have been a spelling test or maybe a line you had to recite in front of the church congregation at the Christmas pageant. You look back and think, 'That really wasn't that big of a deal', except at the time it was and you...worried.

Not at our, ah, advanced age, there are still things to worry about. What are they?

According to Daily Mail, the top 10 things we worry about are:

1) Work

2) Money

3) Being late

4) A friend or relative's health

5) Our own health

6) Relationships

7) Missing a plane or bus

8) Not waking up to our alarm

9) Our appearance

and 10) Our family's safety.

A few things that just missed the top 10 are:  Growing old alone . . . our pet's health . . . being the victim of a crime . . . terrorism . . . and getting cheated on.

The study also found 84% of us have lost sleep over worrying . . . and 60% say it's affected our relationship.

So if you find yourself worrying about that Grandson that's playing football for the first time...that Granddaughter that's going off to college...that son who's off to kindergarten...that daughter who's taking her first swimming lesson, well, it's perfectly natural to worry.

So don't worry about it!
