Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have been cornerstones in country music for years, and their time-tested marriage is an inspiration to many. The couple keeps fans in the loop on social media, testifying to their solid relationship with adorable photos and updates, as McGraw did on Sunday (Sept. 13) with a cute selfie showing him and his wife making kissy faces in front of a setting sun.

As with any pair in the spotlight, McGraw and Hill have had to stave off rumors of marriage troubles since day one, but Hill has said there’s no real trick to keeping a marriage alive. It’s just a matter of enjoying life with one another!

“I don’t think there’s a secret,” Hill told GAC. “You just have to love the skin you’re in, basically. You have to walk this life together. There will be times, ups and downs, but you have to essentially like the person that you love. I think it’s important to laugh a lot and have a good time. Life is so short. It sounds contrived but it’s the truth."

Hill and McGraw were married in October of 1996 and have since had three daughters, the oldest of which recently went off to college. Being married for nearly 20 years definitely brings the ups and downs Hill spoke of, but it seems the couple’s relationship remains strong.

At the recent premiere for Disney's Tomorrowland, in which McGraw has a role, he playfully bantered about their romantic life when asked about Hill’s ensemble.

“You know the best part about this outfit is I get to unzip it … tonight,” the singer remarked. “How do you think those little kids got to be running around?"

It’s clear the couple is keeping that spark going, but McGraw also makes sure to take care of his lady in a practical, sentimental way. When the couple was asked about the upcoming Mother's Day holiday, McGraw insisted he had something specific planned, but Hill said her family makes sure she feels special on a daily basis.

"I feel like it’s Mother’s Day every day, truthfully,” Hill responded, but did add, "And you know, I don’t have to cook. So that’s nice."

Here’s to many more years of joyful marriage for country's reigning power couple!
