One man cannot eradicate the noxious weeds within our midst.  However, ridding the landscape a few at a time can be therapeutic.

The musk thistle stands high above its surroundings, daring someone to remove it from the terra firma.  It’s vibrant purple blossoms inviting insect pollinators to perpetuate the cycle.  Prickly thorns deem the plant inedible even for the most adventurous herbivore.

With the mighty tool cradled within soon to be calloused mitts, this scourge’s time is at hand.  The fallen no longer so haughty.  Be gone, oh foul presence.
