This Weekend in the Sioux Empire

Here we are the first weekend of spring. Too bad it’s not going to feel like spring. It will be a great weekend to check out some of these fun events:
SIOUX FALLS SKYFORCE… Friday and Saturday night at 7pm at the Arena. Two game home stand against the Canton Charge.
HOME WITH THE HEGG BROTHERS, A BENEFIT FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY…Friday night at 7:30 at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Sioux Falls. Tickets start at $25 and are available at the Washington Pavilion.
YWCA SPINSTERS DANCE…Saturday night from 8:30 to Midnight at the YWCA at 69th and Louise. Student bodies from Lincoln, O’Gorman, Roosevelt and Washington High Schools are invited. To purchase a ticket call 336-3660.
STEWART’S SCHOOL CUT-A-THON TO BENEFIT CURE KIDS CANCER…Saturday at Stewart’s School, 604 N. West Avenue. Get a haircut, get a great deal on select products, shop the vendor fair and more! Proceeds will benefit Cure Kids Cancer in honor of cancer survivor, Ady Hauert.
GIFT OF HOPE CONCERT…Saturday from 3 to 7pm at the O’Gorman High School Performing Arts Center. An inspirational multi-media musical that tells the story of family loss. Olympic gold medalist, Scott Hamilton, will be the special guest narrator at this year’s event. Proceeds from the concert will go to the Gift of Hope Endowment Fund to enhance ministries related to loss, grief and abuse.
