This Weekend in the Sioux Empire

Sounds like we might finally get a break from the arctic blast this weekend. Lets hope so!  Here are a few fun things for you and the family to do this weekend in the Sioux Empire:

SIOUX FALLS SKYFORCE in action Friday and Saturday night at 7pm at the Sioux Falls Arena.  The Force plays host to Reno both nights.

THE MALL WALK this Saturday in the Empire Mall. A benefit for Children’s Care Hospital and school. Registration is at 9:30 at the Empire Mall Food Court. Phil Baker will perform, plus there will be mascots and clowns.

The 6^TH ANNUAL DAY COUNTY COYOTE HUNT…Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Roost in Grenville, SD.  Events include a chili feed on Friday night, Coyote hunt is on Saturday and prizes are awarded on Sunday.

Upcoming Events:

NATIONAL PANCAKE DAY…Enjoy a free stack of buttermilk pancakes at IHOP.  Guests will be asked to make a voluntary donation to Children’s Miracle Network.  7am-10pm.  Meet the Sioux Falls Storm from 11am-4pm at the West 41^st and East 10^th Street location.

WEST SIDE STORY…February 5-7th at 7pm all 3 nights at the Washington Pavilion. 

WINTERFEST OF WHEELS INDOOR CAR SHOW…February 8-10th at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.  Featuring rarely seen collector cars, national winners and title holders, vehicles featured in magazines and on TV and more!  Meet special celebrity guest, Frank Fritz from “American Pickers” on Saturday from 1-4pm and 7-9pm.  Ladies, check out the “Ditch Your Man Room” featuring several vendors.  Hours are 5-10pm on Friday, 10am-9pm Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday.  All profits benefit Cure Kids Cancer.

2^ND ANNUAL Wii BOWLING TOURNAMENT…Saturday, February 9th at the Armory Building at the Fairgrounds.  $1,000 in cash and prizes to be given away.  Proceeds will benefit the Sioux Empire Safety Village.  Entry fee is $80 per team of 4.
