National Weather Service Meteorologist Jen Hacker says Sioux Falls received 4 to 5 inches of snow overnight.

"There were heavier amounts to our south.  Reports of 8 to 10 inches in the Sioux City area.  Light show will continue throughout the day---gradually tapering off from south to north.  We could get half an inch or an inch snow mainly in areas northeast of Sioux Falls.

Hacker says another storm system is moving into the area on Sunday.

"Looks like it will affect the area Sunday night into Monday.  A chance of snow by Sunday afternoon down in the Missouri Valley.  This system will likely target an area southeast of Sioux Falls mainly from eastern Nebraska up through western Iowa."

The City of Sioux Falls is also under a snow alert.  Here's Gaylyn Huber.
