The Blob Has Grown Up. This Human Water Catapult Launches People 55 Feet in the Air

One of my personal favorite movies is the Disney release of Heavyweights back in 1993. In that movie, the idea of a summer vacation at the lake included the need for "The Blob." Now, "The Blob" has been taken to a new extreme.

For those that don't know, "The Blob" is a human water catapult in which one person sits on the edge of it, while another person jumps from some height onto it causing the sitting person to fly up in the air and into the water.

These guys decided to take that idea and magnify it so the person launches around 55 feet in the air.
