Do you know that businesses that have their information online are twice as likely to be considered reputable by consumers? Better Business Bureau serving Nebraska, South Dakota, The Kansas Plains and Southwest Iowa and Key Media Solutions, a Google Certified Partner, are offering small and midsize businesses in South Dakota an opportunity, at no charge, to learn how to increase their online exposure.

Jessie Schmidt of the BBB in Sioux Falls says the "Cities on the Map Tour" is going to Rapid City, Sioux Falls, Yankton and Fort Pierre. Each event is structured around three classes that walk attendees through the step-by-step procedures needed to create a website, use AdWords and Google Analytics. You can pick and choose which classes you want to attend - choose one, two or all three for free!

Classes in the four cities will be held at the same times.

Class #1 begins at 9:00 am. It is a 90 minute workshop that walks you through the steps needed to build and publish a website, choose a domain name and set up a "Google My Business Account."

Class #2 at 1:00 pm lasts 45 minutes and focuses on teaching you how to find keywords, write great ads, advertise on Google and go beyond "search."

Class #3 begins at 3:00 pm and lasts for 60 minutes. This workshop will include an introduction to Google Analytics, teach you how to create goals, track information and show you the available resources with this free program.

The event in Rapid City is on September 11th at the Black Hills & Badlands Visitor's Center, 1851 Discovery Circle. The Sioux Falls classes are on September 14th at the Avera Prairie Center, 1000 E 23rd St. The classes in Yankton are being held at Mount Mary College at 1105 W 8th Street on September 23rd, and on September 29th they are at the AmericIan Lodge & Suites, 312 Island Drive in Fort Pierre.
