Co-Founder of The Bakery has been keeping in touch with members via e-mail and newsletters since the organization moved out of their brick and mortar location on North Main Avenue in Downtown Sioux Falls.

The organization, which held networking meetings, business workshops and resources for entrepreneurs in the Sioux Falls area will now be coming to an end, according to a statement from Clinton Brown.

"It is time to move forward. Over the past 6 months I have been head down focused on making an income for my family." said Brown."

While in its heyday, Brown says The Bakery welcomed over 20,000 to their community, serving over 500 businesses and professionals through their memberships.  Helping to launch new businesses is what Brown is particularly proud of. "We helped 44 businesses to launch. Some of those have gone on to generate more than one million dollars in annual revenue. Hundreds of people are employed from these businesses." says Brown. "This is my greatest honor. I love small business and I love to see them grow."

Brown will continue to work with new business start ups on what he says will be a more intimate setting, with smaller groups in business boot camp sessions.

Members paying monthly will see that their billing will cease.

Although limited, my interaction with The Bakery was helpful, as I attended a public speaking course, which covered the basics of how to format speaking engagement events, along with tips for gaining the attention of the audience, and how to engage the attendee thoughtfulness and participation.
