Taylor Swift may have firmly crossed over into in the realm of pop music (her second all-pop album, Reputation, is set to drop Nov. 10), but her heart still — at least partially — remains in Nashville.

Proof positive? The megastar tweeted a Spotify playlist on Friday (Sept. 29) which curates some of her favorite songs, including country selections by Maren Morris, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley, Midland, Cole Swindell, Brett Young, and Ryan Hurd.

All in all, the country genre represented a solid 10% of Swift’s 69-track list. Not bad!

“This is 100% pretty awesome,” tweets Hurd, when informed by a fan that he made Swift’s hotlist. (Meanwhile, his fiancee, Morris, tweeted an overwhelmed “WUT?!”)

Taylor Swift's Evolution: From Virtuous to Vengeful

Swift’s list comprised a diverse genre mix overall, including pop, R&B, hip-hop and indie/folk choices. She made sure to include some of her best buddies such as Ed Sheeran, Jack Antonoff (who is the mastermind behind Bleachers), Selena Gomez, and sister group Haim; as well as some unexpected picks such as Haux, Iron and Wine, Volcano Choir and others.

Probably the most surprising omission on her list was the absence of anything from her good pal Lorde, who just released an album in June. Swift also — perhaps wisely — stayed away from adding any of her own music; although this would have been a perfect opportunity to sneak a new single through!
