Tanya Tucker, a country music icon since first recording Alex Harvey’s classic "Delta Dawn" in 1972 while still a teenager, has signed with APA Nashville.

Though she took time off these past few years to raise her children, the legendary songstress is now prepping to hit the road once again with a new tour and new music.

Slated for release later this year, the new tracks will be included in her first album since 2009’s My Turn.

Tanya has enjoyed an incredible career that garnered her four Platinum albums, eight Gold albums, and numerous hits. In 1991, after almost two decades in the business, the CMA rightfully recognized her unique talents with Female Vocalist of the Year.

Tanya says,

I’ve taken a few years off and it is time to get back on the road. I am really excited to perform all the hits that the fans love so much, and sing a few new songs that I have been working on.

Tour dates will be announced soon.
