Thursday June 18, 2015 marked the one year anniversary of the Wessington Springs tornado. The community gathered to remember and look to the future.

Along with the rebuilding of many homes and businesses, the town of Wessington Springs, South Dakota will now be rebuilding their landscape.

On Wednesday, October 15th, 2014, the small town of Wessington Springs will be known as the South Dakota Capital for a Day.

It’s one of the more unique ways of celebrating 125 years of South Dakota statehood.  The result of this brainstorm from an artist in Plankinton ties together terra firma from all 66 counties.

Wednesday, June 18th, 2014. It's a night that residents of Wessington Springs, South Dakota won't soon forget. A tornado, swept through Buffalo and Jerauld Counties in South Dakota.

Well, the Parkston Event is over. Team Sonnie was out in full force in Parkston, South Dakota on Saturday, May 17th. Now, we're getting ready for the Wessington Springs leg of the party!
