Taylor Swift Performs ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ Acoustic for Fifi and Jules
It was 'Trouble' Down Under for Taylor Swift.
It was 'Trouble' Down Under for Taylor Swift.
Although Taylor Swift has been known to get swept off of her feet pretty quickly, she's recently come to the conclusion that she's never actually been in love. That could explain why the country songbird's relationships tend to fizzle fast after starting out strong.
Taylor Swift debuted her new song 'I Knew You Were Trouble' at the 2012 American Music Awards on Sunday (Nov. 18), and she pulled off a bit of a fashion and costume magic act while doing so. It was also a surprising, out-of-the-box, daring and edgy performance from the normally wholesome singer.
Taylor Swift has plenty of nicknames (like T-Swizzle, Swifty, Tay Tay and T-Swift, just to name a few). And while the pop-country superstar doesn't seem to mind most of the endearing terms that her fans and friends create for her, one nickname -- which was given by none other than former tourmate Brad Paisley -- did earn the distinction of worst nickname ever for the 22-year-old.
Taylor Swift will perform during the upcoming 2012 American Music Awards ceremony, adding the primetime appearance to her already exhausting promotional blitz in support of her latest studio album, 'Red.' The 'Begin Again' singer is not the only country artist confirmed in the star-studded lineup -- Carrie Underwood will also be there.
The Entertainer of the Year award at the 2012 CMA Awards will provide a nervous moment, as fans for the two favorites to win couldn't be further apart in terms of interests or tastes. The trophy is meant to honor the singer with the best year of sales, music, touring and general exposure, but really it comes down to who CMA voters like best. It's not as scientific as it seems it should be, although our prediction is based on hard data.
