The regular season for the Sioux Falls basketball teams came to a close on Saturday, but positions are still at hand for other teams heading into the Districts.
Lincoln Patriots and Roosevelt Rough Riders met for the first time on since the 2014 state championship game. This time it was Lincoln who came out on top.
For the Roosevelt Rough Riders, last season did not end exactly the way they would have hoped. This year, they are being looked at as the clear favorite heading into the season.
The decision has been made for Roosevelt High School quarterback Taryn Christion. Christion will move to Brookings to play for the Jackrabbits following graduation.
The two top teams from District 1 and District 2 will face off tonight. Sioux Falls Roosevelt (14-3) will have their second meeting this season with Sioux Falls Washington (11-7).
