Tabloid Magazines Spark Household Conversation

This past weekend, my wife and I were standing in a checkout line.

'Oh look, Blake and Miranda are breaking up,' she said.

'Yep, it's on the front of a tabloid magazine, it must be true,' I chortled.

You don't know how long I've waited to use that word. Chortled.

Sometimes when it's late at night, and when I'm watching The Voice or balancing my checkbook I wonder if it wouldn't be cool to be a star like Blake Shelton. I have to tell you, Blake and Miranda could come over to my house anytime they wanted, but I don't think I would want their world.

Understand, I like to be able to do what I want to do. I even kind of like a quite night at home once in a while. I don't think Blake and Miranda get that. Hardly ever.

The most recent tabloid rumor, is again that Blake and Miranda are living apart. I would imagine if Miranda is touring and Blake is on the west coast doing The Voice, that there is some 'time apart.' That's part of the deal. But is it more than that? Doubtful. Could be, but till it's announced, I wouldn't want to be part of it. I'll leave it to the tabloids to keep spreading their 'news.'

Oh, by the way. I let her buy the groceries. We left the magazine at the store.
