Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse

Is your city ready for a visit from the undead?

For fun, every year around Halloween, CareerBuilder ranks the nation's largest cities to see which ones are best prepared for a zombie apocalypse.

Various factors are taken into consideration, like defense. Does the city have a strong enough military presence and/or police presence.

Can they find a cure? Is there a high enough number of medical research facilities in the area that the virus can be contained?

Are there enough engineers and construction workers in the area to build a wall to keep the zombies out?

Based on that criteria - the city of Boston has been deemed as having the best chance of survival. Kansas City, San Diego, Baltimore and Salt Lake City also got high marks.

New York and Chicago, however, are the cities most likely to fall to the zombies.
