As Sugarland embarks on the 2018 Still the Same Tour, their first time hitting the road together in six years, there's many facets to adjust to. One new adjustment Kristian Bush has been faced with? Having his own tour bus, or "Man Bus" as he affectionately calls it.

The best part? It has Jennifer Nettles' seal of approval.

Bush recalls the first time he and Nettles attended the CMA Awards at Madison Square Garden in New York and were ushered into separate dressing-room areas, a strange feeling for the pair who were accustomed to living and working in a co-ed environment with one another. But when it came time to plan the Still the Same trek, the duo decided to travel on their own separate buses.

"We joke in my world on my bus that it was called 'Man Bus,' because you gotta remember that when Jennifer and I started there weren’t a lot of co-ed bands," Bush shares with the duo's label, Big Machine Label Group. "It was a very telling moment -hen Jennifer and I finally were like,'Let’s go ahead and try out our own buses.' It was time, right?

"So we did it, and suddenly it was just me and my brother, and we were like, 'We don’t think we’ve ever had a 'Man Bus' on a Sugarland tour. What’s this like?' And of course, our version of 'Man Bus' is like facial hair and martinis."

Sugarland's latest album Bigger was released in June of 2018, and bowed in the No. 2 position on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and inside the Top 15 on the all-genre Billboard 200. The "Baby Girl" singers have been traveling across the U.S. since May, with the tour concluding on Sept. 9 in Philadelphia.

“It’s a cool bus. It smells good. Which you wouldn’t think it would. 'Man Bus' does smell good," Bush describes. Meanwhile, Nettles adds, “Man Bus is a cool bus."

Their latest single "Babe" featuring Taylor Swift, who also co-penned track, is currently in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
