Starbucks New $1 Reusable Cup

If one of your new year resolutions was to be a little more earth-friendly, or to 'go green', here's a great way for you to start if you need that morning coffee jump-start. Starbucks has introduced the reusable cup for it's customers.

Americans consume 400 million cups of coffee per day or equivalent to 146 billion cups of coffee per year, making the United States the leading consumer of coffee in the world. Those numbers suggest that this might be a really good idea.

The Starbucks-branded vessels, which sell for only $1, will be cleaned with boiling water each time a customer brings it in for a refill, doing the earth a favor at the same time.
