Sioux Falls Police continue to search for suspects involved in an early morning stabbing that took place in the area of the railroad tracks, between Main and Dakota Avenue in Sioux Falls on Sunday, August 16, 2015.

Shorty after 1:00 AM police were called to Gilberto’s Mexican Restaurant, where officers found two men who had been assaulted. One man had a non-life threatening stab wound to the back, and the other had injuries to his face and head.

According to the victims, there were walking in the area of the railroad tracks between Main and Dakota when they were approached, and assaulted from behind by four to six unknown Hispanic or Native American males.

After being attacked, the two victims were able to run to the restaurant where family members called 911.

The victims were only able to give vague descriptions of their attackers.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, wearing a red shirt. The other, a 6-foot-1, 210 pounds male, wearing a gray shirt with a "skyline" design on it.

The stabbing victim was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital. He's expected to make a full recovery.
