It was a sprint car lover's dream Thursday night at The 39th Annual AGCO Jackson Nationals. It was the first of three nights of all sprint car racing at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minnesota.

The sprint cars put on a thriller on the big half mile. A large crowd of fans were on hand and continue to pack in for round two on Friday night.

Among the cars in competition are the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. Saturday night's main event pays $25,000 to win.

Thursday night saw Ian Madsen win the 410 outlaw sprint division. He battled thru the race against his brother Kerry. Brad Sweet was third, Donny Schatz fourth and Danny Lasoski in fifth.

Friday the gates open at 4:00 PM. Hot laps begin at 6:30 PM with racing to follow. See track and ticket information.
