If you mention the name Logan Storley around South Dakota, people in wrestling world just nod their head and say, yep I know who you're talking about. Storley is a legend in South Dakota High School Wrestling.Today we see that Storley is on a Mixed Martial Arts Card. According to MMA Junkie .com,

Among the latest additions is undefeated welterweight prospect Logan Storley (2-0), who should help pull in some local fans when he meets Rode Vocu (1-0).

After winning six high school state wrestling titles (he began wrestling at the high school level in seventh grade), Storley followed in the footsteps of former UFC champion Brock Lesnar. Like Lesnar, Storley moved from Webster High School in South Dakota to the IUniversity of Minnesota. There, Storley was a four-time NCAA Division I All-American. He then quickly transitioned to MMA, where he’s picked up RFA wins over Bill Mees and Marc Hummel, both via first-round TKO.

He now meets Vocu, a 19-year-old North Dakotan who won his pro debut in October, when he defeated Dustin Larocque via second-round TKO.

The location for the fight is ideal for any Storley fans that might want to attend the bout.

The show takes place March 4 at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minn., and the main card airs on AXS TV.

I ran across a video of Storley at one of his MMA fights. After he freed up from the full guard he was able to rain down some hammer fists to close out the fight. Enjoy.
