The Summit League is well represented in the season's first Mid-Major men's basketball Top 25 - but not the defending conference regular season and tournament champion.

Projections from the basketball 'experts' continue to be very modest for a Jackrabbit team that graduated standout point guard Nate Wolters.

South Dakota State, grabbed just eight points in the CollegeInsider.com poll, tied for 66th.

One other Summit League team, Western Illinois,  received 13 points in the poll.
