We are heading into the final stretch of the regular season and most teams have found a comfortable spot in the top five.

Class 11AAA

Class 11AAA remains the same this week after Roosevelt, Washington, O'Gorman, and Brandon Valley all secured wins. Aberdeen Central remains ranked 5th following a 35-7 loss to #1 in 11AA Harrisburg. Rapid City Stevens received three votes this week following a 24-3 win over Watertown. Lincoln still received a single vote after losing to Mitchell 28-7.

Class 11AA

The Tigers remain the king of 11AA following a win over Aberdeen Central. Mitchell received two first place votes after defeating Lincoln, however are still behind the Tigers due to the opening week Harrisburg win. Huron defeated Spearfish 26-20, while Yankton fell to O'Gorman and Pierre was defeated by Washington.

Class 11A

The debate is over between Madison and Sioux Falls Christian. The Bulldogs powered their way to a 34-6 win over the Chargers. The loss dropped Sioux Falls Christian down to 4th. St. Thomas More continues to receive one first place vote after a 28-7 win over 11AA Douglas. Tea Area defeated Vermillion inside the DakotaDome 39-6 to improve to 6-0. Milbank Area remains in the top five with their lone loss on the season being to 2nd ranked 11B Groton Area in overtime.

Class 11B

The Warriors have no doubters, and they shouldn't. Winner was off last weekend but they have allowed just six points total against them. They have dominated their schedule to this point. Groton Area remains in 2nd following a 41-6 win over Sisseton. Tri-Valley traveled to Beresford and left with a 52-14 victory. Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan got back on the winning trail beating McCook Central/Montrose 16-14. Chamberlain shutout Todd County 51-0 and their lone loss on the year was to Winner.

Class 9AA

Canistota remains the top team in 9AA with almost a unanimous vote. Canistota defeated Mt. Vernon/Plankinton 34-14. Gregory still received one first place vote with a 6-0 record and a 32-6 win over Woonsocket/Wess. Springs/Sanborn Central. The Bearcats from Webster Area have taken full control over the 3rd ranking after being tied last week with Wolsey-Wessington. The Warbirds beat Sunshine Bible Academy 58-7 and are currently ranked 5th. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton fell one spot to 4th following a loss to top ranked Canistota.

Class 9A

No surprises in 9A for this week as the top five remains the same. Sully Buttes remains the favorite in the class receiving seven first place votes. Warner is still ranked second with a couple of first place votes after a 50-8 win over Hitchcock-Tulare. Potter County and Castlewood/Estelline remain undefeated heading into this week. Scotland is ranked 5th following a 50-18 loss to Chester Area.

Class 9B

Class 9B experienced the most change in this week's poll outside of the top two teams. Corsica-Stickney and Harding County continue to roll as both team's picked up large victories last week. Hamlin was off last week, and that has propelled them into the third spot. Langford Area was also off last week, but fell from tied for 2nd down to 4th. With no game played for either Hamlin or Langford Area, the sportswriters changed their minds after one week on their prior ranking. Colome beat Andes Central/Dakota Christian 60-6 to remain in the 5th spot.
