The regular season is just under two weeks away from coming to an end. Here are the latest rankings from the South Dakota Sportswriters.

Class AA boys received a shake-up this week as Watertown lost to both Aberdeen Central and Sioux Falls Lincoln. That sent the Arrows, who have been ranked in the top five all season, outside of the rankings for the first time. Roosevelt, with a win over Aberdeen Central, has jumped to 5th. O'Gorman is the unanimous number one.

Class AA Boys

No changes this week in Class AA girls. Washington picked up a top five win against O'Gorman last Friday night. Roosevelt continues to improve while holding on to the last spot in the rankings. Lincoln has still only lost one game to a South Dakota school (Washington) but has another shot at them on Tuesday night. Aberdeen Central continues to remain undefeated.

Dell Rapids and Sioux Falls Christian continue to battle back and forth for the top spot in the Class A boys rankings. Those two teams have separated themselves as the top two in the minds of the sportswriters. The rest of the top five remains the same this week with Sioux Valley, St. Thomas More, and Clark-Willow Lake.

One change this week in the Class A rankings and that comes at the final spot. Webster Area has entered the top five this week after defeating Waverly-South Shore, Aberdeen Roncalli, and Leola/Frederick last week. St. Thomas More continues to be the large favorite in the class, especially after picking up a win over Class AA O'Gorman.

The undefeated Warner Monarchs continue to dominate Class B boys with a 15-0 record. They remain the top team in the rankings this week following wins over Faulkton Area, Leola/Frederick, and Groton Area last week. The same five teams from last week appear this week, but teams have switched positions in this week's poll.

Sully Buttes continues to control Class B girls with an undefeated 15-0 record. However, the rest of the class is fairly even according to the sportswriters poll. Hanson remains the second ranked team, but Viborg-Hurley jumped to third. The Cougars were unranked as of two weeks ago. Ethan dropped to fourth following a loss to Sanborn Central/Woonsocket.
