The commercial that resonated with South Dakotans the most during Super Bowl  47 was Dodge Ram's "So God Made a Farmer."

Over a series of still photos of farms, farmers, and farm equipment, the commercial played a talk by the conservative radio broadcaster Paul Harvey, who died in 2009. Harvey delivered the speech, called "So God Made a Farmer," at the Future Farmers of America convention in 1978.

In a night where the commercials are suppose to rival the entertainment of the big game itself, most viewers said the most hyped ads fell flat.

It was a classy move for the new Dodge Ram truck, which didn't use any of the precious airtime to promote the features of the truck, just a picture at the end. The full two minutes paid tribute to the hard-working  farmer.

Farms.com, who came up with the idea for the ad in 2011, are now working with Chrysler to raise money for the FFA.
