Small Town of the Day – Freeman, SD
Freeman, South Dakota is today’s Small Town of the Day. Any day that I’ve ever been to or through Freeman has been a good day! It’s a little over an hour drive to Freeman but it’s a trip I make quite often!
The town has a ton of pride and it always shines front and center during their city wide celebration held in March, Schmeckfest. Talk about awesome food and a wonderful celebration that everyone should put on their calender.
Freeman is a town of around 1300 and it’s ‘the complete deal,’ when it comes to town, they have an awesome newspaper, the Freeman Courier to help people keep informed as to what’s going on in town.
