The stack of point guards just got a little thicker for the Sioux Falls Skyforce as Larry Drew II returns from time overseas.

The official report from the team says Drew would join the team on Monday and be available for Sioux Falls’ final three games of the regular season. He returns on the heels of a campaign in France with AS Monaco where he appeared in 18 games (6 starts) averaging 4 points and 3.6 assists.

After being signed by the Miami Heat as a free agent rookie, Drew II, a 6-2, 180-pound guard out of UCLA, was allocated to Sioux Falls in 2013. He has started in 77 of his 83 games played with the Skyforce over the previous two seasons while averaging 11.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 8.3 assists in just over 35 minutes played per game. Drew II also holds both the Skyforce and the NBA Development League record for recording the most assists in a single game with 23 on December 25, 2014 against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Drew II is currently number 5 on the all-time list for career assists with 689. At number 4 is Darryl McDonald with 701 dimes with the top 3 on the grid each with over 1,100 in their respective times with the ‘Force (Randy Livingston 1,245; Cedric Hunter 1,134; David Bailey 1,127).
