Look, you can't fault a lady for falling asleep after a large meal and a bottle of wine, right?  Well, maybe in this case, you can.

A 49-year-old Sioux Falls woman has been arrested after falling asleep, refusing to pay her $75 restaurant bill, then leading the police on a chase in downtown Sioux Falls.

Crystal May Gill had fallen asleep at Luciano’s North, on 431 N. Phillips Avenue after eating a large meal and drinking a bottle of wine. She then became upset after the manager woke her up and demanded that she pay her bill.

Gill refused to pay the tab and then left the restaurant, followed by the manager, who flagged down a police officer.

The police officer attempted to get Gill to stop, but had no luck. With officers following behind her, she ran into the Romantix Adult Store where she attempted to use the emergency exit to leave.

Officers heard the emergency exit alarm, ran around the building and arrested Gill in Van Eps Park.

She has been charged with obtaining services without paying, fleeing police and disorderly conduct.
