Sioux Falls St. Patty’s Day Parade Has a New Grand Marshal and You Couldn’t Ask for a Nicer Guy
There's a new Marshal in town and you couldn't find a nicer guy to fill the job. Pat Gustaf has been a cheerleader for all things Sioux Falls for a lot of years. Now Pat will serve as Grand Marshal for the 35th Annual St. Patricks Day Parade on Saturday, March 15th in Sioux Falls.
You may know long time Sioux Falls resident Patrick Gustaf as the smiling owner of Gustaf's Greenery. You may know Pat from seeing him serving pancakes at the Annual Sioux Falls Downtown Lions Club Pancake Days fundraiser. For those of us who have known Pat for years we known him as one of the finest guys you'll ever meet.
On being named to his new post Pat responded: "Every day since Sean Clarey came in and told me that I was the new Grand Marshal I wake up and wonder if I dreamed it, that is so cool!"
Pat's goal is to make this the biggest and best Sioux Falls St. Patricks Day celebration ever. Let's all plan to be at 9th & Philips @ 12:noon for the "Painting of the Shamrock"!
To Sioux Falls New Grand Marshal let me extend this Irish Blessing: "May you always have a clean shirt, a clear conscience, and enough coins in your pocket to buy a pint!"
