In a game that had just about everything, the Oklahoma City Blue seized sole possession of the division lead by outlasting the Sioux Falls Skyforce 120-115 in overtime.

With a couple days between their last contest, Oklahoma City (21-9) looked sluggish to start falling down by 24 points in the second quarter. A methodical march capped by a circus shot from Reggie Williams with 1.9 seconds left in regulation continued into the extra session.

Skyforce guard Bubu Palo was mystified by the effort as Williams was falling out of bounds as he let fly.

“I don’t even know to be honest with you, how he made the shot, but you’ve got to tip your hat off to him. That was a great play and he played well all game. We are going to regroup and we will see them again. It’s a long season and we’ve got to keep pushing.”

Skyforce Head Coach Nevada Smith says the outcome didn’t hinge on one play.

“Offensive rebounds, free throws and we had way too many turnovers. It happened throughout the course of the game. We just drove in (the lane) and got caught. We played hard our energy was good. We lost Williams a couple times late and he made us pay plus we made a couple really bad mistakes.”

Beyond all that for Sioux Falls (20-10) guard Briante Weber nearly recorded the first quadruple double in NBA D-League history with 18 points, 12 assists, 11 rebounds and 9 steals which still makes his fifth triple double of the season in the team's fourth consecutive setback. For the Blue who have won six straight, Williams finished with 35 points and center Dakari Johnson supplied 22 points and 10 boards.

Oklahoma City will have one more game on their current road trip as they face the Texas Legends on Friday. Sioux Falls will also head to the Lone Star state but will meet up with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Thursday.
