Sioux Falls Police Lt. Jerome MIller says tickets were written on Tuesday, the first day of a major 4 day saturation patrol.  The tickets were for stop light violations.

Lt. Miller has a message for Sioux Falls motorists:  "As a reminder again, I caught myself even thinking and paying a little more attention while driving because of the saturation patrol.  The police are looking for people specifically aimed at red belt violations.  They will be ticketed!"

The Sioux Falls saturation patrol will run from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. through Friday.

Lt. Miller says four to six additional officers will work each day during the saturation patrols.
