The Sioux Falls Roller Dollz will be rolling back to the Arena at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center for the 2014 season.

The Roller Dollz made that announcement on Monday, August 18th.

According to team spokeswoman Vanessa Sweeney, also known by her derby fans as Redvolution, the team holds the Arena "near and dear to their hearts-and skates!"

Sweeney says, "The more people who attend our bouts translates to an even better relationship with the community, plus we hope to expose more people to the awesome sport of professional roller derby."

The team's first game on its new home track in 2014 will be on September, 13th at 7:00pm against Winnipeg. The upcoming season will be the Roller Dollz eighth playing professional roller derby.

The Roller Dollz is a not-for-profit organization seeking to empower women and give back to the community.

A&E's series "Rollergirls" was actually the inspiration for the formation of the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz team. The show "Rollergirls" chronicled the lives and sport of the Texas Lonestar Rollergirls, a bank-tracked derby team located in Austin, Texas.

Tickets for the upcoming Roller Dollz season are on sale now for $12.00. Kids 10 and under get in free. All seats are general admission and can be purchased at the Sioux Falls Arena Box Office, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, or charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.
