Tribute bands and a night of country music highlight the entertainment at the 16th annual Argus Leader RibFest May 30-June 2, 2013 in the Sioux Falls Arena parking lot.

The entertainment kicks off Thursday May 30th at 5pm with the baddest ZZ Top tribute band in all the land, ZZ3! They’ll be followed by the only Jimmy Buffet tribute band actually approved of by the king of the Parrotheads, A1A at 7:30.

Friday will be country and more country with headliner Neal McCoy, who’s had plenty of radio success, including two #1 hits. Opening for McCoy on Friday May 31 are favorites Andy Gibson, Dustin Evans and Allen Goodroad. Earlier in the afternoon Surfin’ Safari and Too Drunk To Fish will perform.

Saturday night’s headliner will be frequent RibFest performers the Johnny Holm Band starting at 7pm. The Poker Alice Band will get the music started on Saturday June 1 at 11:30am followed by Toby Kane.

Popular children’s entertainer Phil Baker will perform two shows on Family Day, Sunday June 2.

Hours are 5pm-11pm Thursday; 11am-11pm Friday and Saturday; and 11am-5pm Sunday. Tickets are $5 a day, or $10 for an all-weekend pass. Thanks to Grand Falls Casino, all military members & veterans along with family members, receive free admission during the weekend with proper ID.
