Sioux Falls Police and the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office believe the recent BB gun vandalism spree has been solved.

"We have figured out these three people that were responsible for the BB gun vandalism," Police Spokesman Sam Clemens told us. "We had over a hundred different cars that had windows shot out by a BB gun. The damage was over $43.000. The Sheriffs Office also had some reports near Renner of several different cars and some homes, businesses that had windows shot. It was really an effort by the public (having good witness come from that) and then the work between the Sheriff's office and Sioux Falls Police Department figuring out who these three people were."

Clemens says charges have not yet been filed.

"We have a 17-year-old and two 18-years-old males that are responsible. At this point, we have detectives that are working with the State's Attorney. No charges yet. But, those will be coming soon."

The vandalism spree in Sioux Falls took place between Sunday, May 8, 2016 and Tuesday, May 10, 2016.
