Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says three tips resulted in the arrest of a bank robbery suspect.

"Once we released the video and surveillance images, people recognized the suspect. He has a pretty distinct walk and a little different coat color. They saw video/images and knew he also drove a Ford Taurus. That's when the tips came in. The information and the suspect's name produced results. The tips were really instrumental in leading us to solve this case."

45-year-old Rickey Starks is facing charges of first degree robbery and three counts of aggravated assault.

In another incident, Clemens says a search is underway for a male suspect wanted in connection with a weekend stabbing.

"It was early Saturday morning  and we had a couple of people inside a Sioux Falls apartment. We're not sure what led up to it. But, the suspect grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck. The victim and his girlfriend left and went to a business nearby. Police were than called. The victim was taken to the hospital right away."

Clemens says the 34-year-old victim remains in the hospital.
