Sioux Falls Police Captain Loren McManus says a traffic stop on Tuesday led to the discovery of drugs and a weapon inside the vehicle.

"Meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia all were located by officers. They noticed what turned out to be a small BB gun. They also found a long rifle with a barrel that is actually shorter than allowed by state law. There were also indications the serial number on the gun had been tampered with as well."

McManus says the three men in the car now face a number of charges.

"Marijuana and meth possession. There were some outstanding warrants and of course the weapons violation as well."

And that's not all!

"One of the individuals was brought back to the Law Enforcement Center to talk with detectives. While he was in the interview room, apparently nature called and he had to use the restroom. So he used a corner in the interview room to urinate. He was charged with intentional damage to property for that action."

The Sioux Falls suspects have been identified as 40-year-old Christopher Romero, 36-year-old Jack Potts and 23-year-old Sheldon Cortez.
