Officials are looking for a trio of trouble makers after a robbery late Thursday night. Even though there were multiple attackers the victim could accurately describe only one.

Officer Sam Clemens described the incident which occurred in the 700 block of S. 4th Avenue.

“The victim claimed three guys pushed him to the ground. One of them hit him in the shoulder. They went through his pockets took his cell phone and wallet.”

One of the attackers is described as a black man, heavy set about 5-10 and around 40 years old. The other two possibly had darker complexion, but the victim could not recall any other details.

Another incident that was a little more clear-cut was a fight that ended up with an arrest for one and stitches for the other.

Clemens said the two men agreed to a fight after a brief argument over some property.

“The suspect bought a vehicle from a relative of the victim. One of them pulled out a knife and cut the other one. Once the victim was cut, the suspect left. The victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital received stitches and was released. The injuries were to the 18-year old victim’s chin and the upper left side of his chest.”

Police was able to find 19-year old Derick Thomas Armstrong of Sioux Falls. He was charged with aggravated assault.
