Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens says police were called out early Thursday morning to an address near 69th and Minnesota Avenue regarding an attack.

"Apparently our suspect was upset. He had seen his dentist quite a while ago. Nobody seems to know why what was about to happen. The suspect waited in the parking lot for the dentist to arrive at work. When he got there and got out of his car, the suspect started his car and drove toward the dentist. The car hit him. It actually flipped him up to the hood and into the windshield. The dentist did not have any serious injuries. Once the car stopped, our suspect got out with a hammer and threatened the victim with it. The suspect then decided to take off walking. Officers found him nearby."

Clemens says 56-year-old David Yocom was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

Yocom posted video of the attack on his Facebook page:

NOTE: Unfortunately, the video has been removed from Facebook pending further investigation by authorities. Our apologies.
